Pyract ("we," "us," "our") is operated by Pyract Technologies. Our primary place of business is in Canada. We develop and distribute the Pyract desktop and mobile application (the "App") and the website located at pyract.com and its subdomains (the "Website").

For the purposes of Canadian privacy law, we are the organization responsible for the personal information we collect. For the purposes of US state privacy laws, we are the "business" or "controller" of your personal data.

You may delete your local data at any time through the App's Settings. You may delete synced data through your Google Drive.

10. Your Privacy Rights (Canada)

If you are a resident of Canada, you have rights under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, if applicable, Quebec's Act Respecting the Protection of Personal Information in the Private Sector (Law 25).

We obtain your consent before collecting, using, or disclosing personal information, unless an exception under PIPEDA or applicable provincial law applies. You may withdraw consent at any time by disabling specific features in the App's Settings or by contacting us. Withdrawal of consent may limit your ability to use certain features.

Privacy Impact Assessments

In accordance with Quebec Law 25, we conduct privacy impact assessments for features that involve the collection or processing of personal information, including AI processing, clipboard monitoring, and screen capture.

11. Your Privacy Rights (United States)

Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional privacy rights under state privacy laws. We honor the rights provided by the following laws:

11.1 California (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act:

California Notice at Collection: We collect the following categories of personal information: identifiers, commercial information, internet/electronic network activity, audio/visual data, and inferences. We collect this information for the business purposes described in Section 4. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted under the CPRA.

11.2 Virginia (VCDPA)

Virginia residents have the right to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of, and opt out of the processing of personal data for targeted advertising, sale, or profiling. You may appeal a denied request by contacting us.

11.3 Colorado (CPA)

Colorado residents have the right to access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy of, and opt out of the processing of personal data for targeted advertising, sale, or profiling.

11.4 Connecticut (CTDPA)

Connecticut residents have the right to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of, and opt out of the processing of personal data for targeted advertising, sale, or profiling.

11.5 Utah (UCPA), Texas (TDPSA), Oregon (OCPA), Montana (MCDPA), and Other States

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws have rights similar to those described above, including the right to access, delete, and opt out of certain data processing. We comply with all applicable state privacy laws.

11.6 Exercising Your Rights

To exercise any of the rights described above:

Pyract is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States and applicable Canadian laws regarding the privacy of minors.
